Lavender Hidcote Plug Plant

Description

Lavender is an easy to grow, evergreen shrub.  It is extremely popular with gardeners as it is scented and also attracts bees and butterflies.  Extremely versatile, lavender is great in garden beds and borders, patio containers or grown as a lavender hedge.  Dried lavender is often used in potpourris and to make scented sachets.  Hidcote is a classic English lavender.  In garden borders, plant lavenders approximately 90cm (3ft) apart.  To grow into a hedge, plant 30cm (1ft) apart.
